Veloce POS - MEV-WEB PayFacto configuration step by step

MEV-WEB configuration with PayFacto (step-by-step)

Summary

This guide provides the step-by-step configuration of MEV-WEB in Veloce POS with PayFacto: gathering credentials, network/firewall setup, entering settings in Veloce, and transmission tests. Expected outcome: invoices transmitted with MEV-WEB acknowledgment, compliant receipts, and empty send queues.

Step-by-step Instructions

1) Prerequisites

  • MEV-WEB credentials (organization, terminal/point-of-sale, keys/API as applicable).
  • MEV-WEB PayFacto service address (URL/port) and allow-listed domains.
  • Windows and Veloce admin access; system clock synchronized (NTP).
  • Firewall/antivirus configured to allow Veloce and outbound traffic to MEV-WEB.
  • Veloce updated to the required version (see “Update Veloce…” article).

2) Steps

  1. Collect information: Record MEV-WEB URL, merchant/terminal ID, and key (if any). Confirm TLS certificate policy.
  2. Verify network: From the Veloce server, test DNS resolution and HTTPS reachability to the MEV-WEB URL. Add firewall/AV exclusions as needed.
  3. Open MEV-WEB settings: In Veloce go to Settings > Fiscal / MEV > MEV-WEB. Enable Use MEV-WEB.
  4. Enter parameters: Fill the service URL, credentials (organization/terminal), API key, and environment (production or test). Save.
  5. Bind to registers: In Settings > Registers/Stations, link each register to the appropriate MEV-WEB profile (for multi-site setups).
  6. Connectivity test: Click Test connection (if available). Verify success. Otherwise, proceed with a trial send (next step).
  7. Test sale: Open a register, create a low-amount invoice, tender payment. Confirm MEV-WEB status is Success and an acknowledgment number is returned.
  8. Validate printing: Print the receipt and check the required fiscal mentions/MEV-WEB number appear.
  9. Queue check: In the MEV-WEB queue view, confirm there are no failed or long-pending entries.

3) Checks and validation

  • Connection test succeeds and the MEV-WEB service responds without network/SSL errors.
  • Test sales receive an acknowledgment and the invoice shows transmitted status.
  • No failures remain in the MEV-WEB queue; receipts include required mentions.

Fixes and FAQs

  • SSL/TLS error: Check system date/time, certificate chain, and proxy/antivirus interception. Add an exception or disable TLS inspection for the MEV-WEB domain.
  • 401/403 unauthorized: Reconfirm credentials (organization/terminal/key). Verify environment (test vs production).
  • Timeout: Test Internet latency, allow the URL in the firewall, and reduce network load. Restart the Veloce service if needed.
  • Approved invoice not transmitted: Use the resend function from the MEV-WEB queue. If an ack exists upstream, prevent duplicates by reconciling on the unique number.
  • Backlog in queue: Pause sales, fix the oldest error, then resume and trigger batch resend.
